Cockington Primary School

The school council and Year 6 Leaders have developed a new playground area called the Cosy Corner. Using resources purchased with a generous donation from local charity Wishing Well, the children have had a blast building dens and taking part in role play. Please contact the school office if you can donate any items that would be suitable to use.

Eden Park Primary School

The Reception classes recently received a special video call from Mr Morgan's son who is a police officer. He answered questions from the children about his job and how he helps people.

Eggbuckland Vale Primary School

The Reception classes have been learning about different traditions and festivals, including Chinese New Year. The children have loved getting creative with junk modelling, making themed musical instruments, masks, lanterns and paper chain snakes. They also enjoyed tasting Chinese food such as egg noodles, spring rolls and prawn crackers!

Leigham Primary School

The Nursery children have been having lots of fun playing parachute games, which has encouraged them to work together in teams and improve their listening skills.

Manadon Vale Primary School

For their Art topic, Year 3 have been trying out a technique called Monoprinting, which produces unique prints by applying ink to a smooth surface and then transferring the image to paper.

Preston Primary School

Well done to the Broadsands House Captains who arranged for Therapy Dogs Nationwide to come in and talk to the children about how they support people in multiple settings.

Thornbury Primary School

The school recently requested donations of pre-loved books to replenish their library. They had a fantastic response and the children are now looking forward to enjoying a wider variety of books.

Widey Court Primary School

Congratulations to the Year 5/6 football team who placed 4th in the Devon County Cup tournament held in Newton Abbot. Amazing teamwork and sportsmanship demonstrated by all!
