Cockington Primary School

Year 3 have been preparing to write and record their very own Christmas single, which will raise money for their chosen charity. The children enjoyed watching videos of popular Christmas songs and comparing how the artists' hairstyles have changed in 30 years! Watch this space for further details!

Year 5 have been inspired by Antony Gormley's Field for the British Isles to create this wonderful Field of Cockington replica. We look forward to sharing the final sculptures with you all!

Eggbuckland Vale Primary School

This beautiful Remembrance Day tribute stands proudly at the entrance of the school. A big thank you to Mrs Burns and her family for creating this special display.

Foundation Stage have been on an adventure through a deep dark wood after reading The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson. There were lots of fun activities based on the book, including making a log pile house for snake and collecting nuts for mouse!

Leigham Primary School

Pupils in Year 3 have recently completed their Child Pedestrian Training course. One of the parents commented on the incredible difference in her child's road safety skills following the course. Well done, Year 3!

Foundation Stage have been studying the Hindu festival of Diwali. The children have been busy creating some impressive Diva lamps using clay and gemstones.

Widey Court Primary School

At a recent Parents Evening, some of the children were tasked with interviewing parents and carers about their views on the school and then collating the feedback. The pupils taking part were highly praised for their confidence and politeness.

Pupils have enjoyed taking part in the Spot the Poppy Challenge! The challenge involves scanning QR codes at hidden places around the school site and adding the locations to their Poppy Passport. The QR codes hold clues on where to find the next poppy, as well as some interesting historical facts.
