Cockington Primary School

Thank you to our parent helper, Pendulum Carpentry, who fixed one of the planters. The children are looking forward to using the planter again for their Wild for Learning lessons. We also received a donation from a kind parent of bamboo sticks which will be used to grow some climber plants.

Eden Park Primary School

Frogs Nursery have loved playing in the sensory tray with biodegradable goo called Gelli Baff. The children discussed the texture and enjoyed finding hidden items such as animals and numbers.

Eggbuckland Vale Primary School

The nursery have been making gingerbread men as part of their Gingerbread Man topic. The children couldn't wait to mix the ingredients and worked together brilliantly when following the recipe.

Leigham Primary School

The Arts & Crafts Club have made a start on their 12 Days of Christmas advent calendars. The children are excited for when the time comes to open them!

Manadon Vale Primary School

Well done to the newly formed Year 3/4 mixed football team, who played in a local schools tournament for their first game together. They represented the school amazingly and demonstrated fantastic teamwork skills.

Preston Primary School

Some of the parents were fortunate to meet trainer Christel and Molly the therapy dog. They got to experience how Molly's presence supports the emotional wellbeing of the children and strengthens community spirit. The school look forward to offer more of these Paws to Meet sessions in the future.

Thornbury Primary School

The Reception class ventured to the meadow in the school grounds to take part in a treasure hunt. The children practiced their Makaton signs to find the hidden clues.

Widey Court Primary School

Thank you to author Clare Welsh who visited the school's MKC Heroes service children to discuss feelings and emotions. The workshop also involved getting creative to make feelings jars. You can find out more about the MKC Heroes charity and the important work that they do here.
