Cockington Primary School

Thank you to the staff who created this fabulous festive play space for the children in Year 1.

Eden Park Primary School

Children and staff recently joined the Lanterns, Lights and 'Luminations parade in Brixham. The lanterns were made in school during an art workshop, and proudly showcased by school representatives Miss Bolton and Mrs Good.

Eggbuckland Vale Primary School

Year 4 enjoyed a themed day based on their Ancient Greeks topic. The children experienced the culture with traditional outfits, healthy food tasting and vase design.

Leigham Primary School

The Reception classes have been learning about how different religions celebrate with light. The children have enjoyed reading stories about Hanukkah, making Divali lamps and Advent Christingles.

Manadon Vale Primary School

Thank you to Rachel from the Devon & Somerset Fire Rescue Service who visited the school to give assemblies on fire safety, including prevention measures and how to respond.

Preston Primary School

Year 3/4 visited Paignton Academy to take part in an athletics themed sports festival. The children demonstrated wonderful teamwork skills, encouraging and cheering one another on.

Thornbury Primary School

Years 1/2 have been exploring how Scottish people celebrate St Andrews Day. The children loved learning the Ceilidh, a traditional Scottish dance.

Widey Court Primary School

Thank you to Mrs Maiden and Mrs Dawe who arranged a wreath making workshop for adults in the school community. It was a great morning full of creativity and chatter.
