Cockington Primary School

The Year 5/6 girls football team performed amazingly at the ESFA Tournament held at South Devon College. The girls won both of their matches against other local schools, leaving as ESFA Torbay champions!

Eden Park Primary School

The school are very grateful to have been gifted Worry and Puppet Monsters from charity Knit-for-Nowt, which creates hand knitted, crocheted or sewn items. When a worrying or troubling thought comes into a child's mind they can write it down, or draw a picture, and feed it to their monster or puppet. Eggbuckland Vale Primary School

Year 3 have been studying Dartmoor over the last term. They demonstrated their knowledge and understanding by sketching maps of Dartmoor, identifying the physical and human features of the landscape.

Leigham Primary School

Year 5 enjoyed a fun day celebrating the end of their Vikings topic. The children built their own longships, as well as presenting an assembly to their families about their learning.

Manadon Vale Primary School

Year 5 have been constructing wooden towers during their Design & Technology lessons. The children had to design, plan, measure and build their towers, using New York as their inspiration. The staff were impressed with their resilience, patience and creativity.

Preston Primary School

The House Captains recently ran their first house assemblies, where they talked about the meaning of being part of a house, school values and fundraising for their chosen charities.

Thornbury Primary School

Years 5/6 have been exploring materials and their properties as part of their Science topic. The children enjoyed testing the hardness, transparency and magnetism of various items around the classroom.

Widey Court Primary School

Well done to the Year 5/6 girls football team who were the winners of their first competitive match of the school year. The girls played brilliantly and were fantastic representatives for the school.
