Cockington Primary School

The Reception classes are learning numbers 0-5, focusing on 1 more and 1 less. For their home learning task, the children have enjoyed practicing number rhymes to support their understanding of patterns of numbers.

Eden Park Primary School

The school came together last week to reflect and remember Bobby Chapman, who sadly passed away in January 2024. The PTA have kindly donated this orange bench which has been painted in Bobby’s favourite colour and placed in the sensory garden, a space that Bobby loved.  

Eggbuckland Vale Primary School

Year 6 have been getting competitive during the PE lessons, by challenging themselves to see how far they could row in 2 minutes.

Leigham Primary School

It was wonderful to see so many parents and carers attend the recent Learning Together session, where the adults and children enjoyed collaborating on a sewing activity.

Manadon Vale Primary School

The Reception classes have had a super time wassailing in their woodland area, awakening the trees with lots of singing and banging of pots and pans!

Preston Primary School

The Reception classes recently welcomed their local police officers. The children were excited to ask lots of questions about their duties and helping people in need, as well as trying on the uniforms and seeing the inside of the police car.

Thornbury Primary School

For their Music topic, Year 6 children have been learning to recognise, read and play various musical notes. We look forward to hearing their own compositions that they will be working on over the next few weeks.

Widey Court Primary School

The Reception classes were encouraged to bake some gingerbread men at home as part of their learning of the traditional tale The Gingerbread Man.
